Hard shoulder labour
A WOMAN gave birth in her car on the hard shoulder of a motorway, and the drama was recorded in a 999 call.
Sam Parrett, who had been driving them to hospital, spoke to emergency services as his wife Leanne screamed on the back seat.
Graphic designer Sam suddenly told the call handler: “The baby’s here... I wasn’t expecting that.”

Healthy baby boy Sebastian, who has an older sister, was born at 8lb 2oz on the M5 near Thornbury, Glos.
