The letters A to Z have each been allocated a different number between 1 and 26. The number next to each word in this list is the sum total of the letter values in that word. So, for example, in HILL, H might equal 13, I 22 and L (which is counted twice) 11, or H might be 2, I 15 and L 20, or any other combinatio­n adding up to 57. We’ve placed some starter letters in the grid at the bottom — can you work out the values of the rest?
