DAWSON’S POTSHOT

-

MICHAEL DAWSON claims Stoke are still suffering a relegation hangover and wants Nottingham Forest to cash in.

New Potters boss Gary Rowett has struggled despite heavy investment in an attempt to bounce straight back to the Premier League.

Forest defender Dawson (left), 34, relegated twice with Hull, said: “Stoke have some top players. They got relegated from the Premier League last season and it does take some time to settle in.

“They probably haven’t had the start they wanted but aren’t a million miles away.

“The table can change quickly. It can look good but then it can go the other way.”
