GARRY MONK is trying to turn Lukas Jutkiewicz into a goal machine like he did with Chris Wood at Leeds.

The Birmingham striker (below) has just been named EFL Player of the Month for October after taking his tally to nine goals. His boss Monk previously nurtured Wood at Leeds before the Kiwi moved to top-flight Burnley for £15million. Ahead of Hull’s visit today, Monk said: “There was real potential with Chris Wood, but he wasn’t getting the goals. We made him focus on three or four main strengths. You saw what happened that season, he scored 30-plus goals.”
