The DWP: A clarification

In Wednesday’s paper, under the banner “Universal Credit Crisis”, we published a story about a family that had been left in poverty because of delays in Universal Credit. Since then the DWP have been in touch to say it could not have been a Universal Credit issue as he would not have qualified for it and they have no record of anyone from the Charity contacting them. We are happy to make this clear.
