THE worst drivers work in finance and medicine, a survey has found.

Financial analysts are the professionals most likely to be involved in a road accident, followed by doctors, financial advisers, dentists and pharmacists.

Painters and builders are best, with professional drivers, mature students and butchers behind them.

The data from insurance provider 1st Central came from its analysis of claims from 2.6 million drivers of privately owned vehicles.
