NORWICH fly to Miami today ready to practise penalties in the sunshine.

Things are looking bright for Daniel Farke’s Canaries after they twice fought back to beat Millwall, despite a third missed penalty in as many Saturdays.

Teemu Pukki, who still bagged a brace, was the guilty culprit this time after Jordan Rhodes and Mario Vrancic missed previously.

“We’ve already missed four penalties in the season,” groaned Farke. “Normally you won’t miss four penalties in five or six seasons. That’s crazy. Anyhow, it’s unbelievable that the last three missed penalties didn’t even cost one point.

“It’s unbelievable how mentally strong we’ve reacted after missing the penalties. But one thing is for sure, we have to use our chances with penalties. Next time perhaps we send a German to the spot and hopefully that helps.”

Moritz Leitner, who hit a 25-yard cracker and set up Pukki’s 97thminute winner, volunteered to take the next one and Farke revealed he had been on the list.

Farke (right) said: “To be honest, Moritz was on the paper for penalties today, together with

Teemu.

“Teemu has a brilliant record normally with penalties – I think five out of six during his career.

“When you watch the penalty back, it should be repeated because the goalkeeper was, before the strike, three or four metres out of his goal.”

Pukki grabbed City’s first equaliser after Tom Elliot put the Londoners ahead. Ryan Leonard and Jed Wallace put Neil Harris’ side back in front before substitute Jordan Rhodes and Pukki put the Canaries back on top in time added on.

Leitner is convinced Norwich are on the verge of achieving REF: ATT: something special and puts that down to the dressing-room spirit.

He said: “How we’ve played and worked is just amazing and really special.

“We’re not allowed to say it’s normal. No, we really work each day really hard. That’s why it’s so special .

“I’m so proud of the lads that we get the success. I’m just happy and proud and really respectful of this club and the team.

“I’m just happy to be a small part of this club. I’m happy to stay here with my missus and my dog – we enjoy it.” NORWICH: MILLWALL: MOTM TEEMU PUKKI (NORWICH) BIRMINGHAM HULL CITY GARRY MONK will hold showdown talks with his Birmingham players before their first game after the international break – away to bitter rivals Aston Villa.

The Blues have tossed away points in each of their last two matches with dreadful displays after half-time.

Following a 3-1 defeat at Derby last week, Monk’s men were in control against Hull thanks to two goals from Che Adams (above).

But they then conceded three times as the Tigers turned the screw through Fraizer Campbell (2) and Kamil Grosicki.

Blues were staring down the barrel of another defeat before Adams completed his hat-trick to salvage a point.

And Monk is all too aware they cannot repeat their defensive mistakes in the Second City derby on November 25.

He said: “I know it’s only two games, but that’s been two second-half performances where something has gone against us and we haven’t dealt with that in the right way.

“If we are going to set the standard, two games is too many.

“That’s something for me to go through with the players in the international break, find out the reasons why and make sure we address that.

“We will get the players’ view and put our view across as a staff, then work on it and make sure it’s very clear how we deal with those type of moments better.”

Hull are still in the bottom three on goal difference but boss Nigel Adkins said: “We’ve again seen a group of players that is committed to each other. They are working their socks off and that can take us a long way.”
