Crash death girl, 8, was ‘the kindest’
THE family of an eightyear-old pedestrian killed by a car have paid tribute to their “beautiful girl”.
Emily Connor was in collision with a Vauxhall Corsa on Saturday and 999 staff pronounced her dead at the scene.
Her family, from Chesterfield, Derbys, said: “To our Emily, the kindest person we ever knew.
“You will always be in our thoughts, we will talk about you every day.”
The tribute added: “Rest in peace, beautiful girl.”
A man aged 24 is in custody, arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the crash in Monton, Gtr Manchester.
Police want to speak to anyone who saw the blue Vauxhall Corsa in the area at the time of the collision.
