The neighbouri­ng community of Hidden Hills has already been placed under a mandatory evacuation order, forcing 2,000 residents to flee.

The area is home to many who work in Hollywood and Meghan still has several friends living nearby, including in Malibu and Calabasas.

A Woodland Hills resident said: “We’ve watched the flames in the distance coming closer by the day. Unless the winds change we fear our homes will be next. All we can do is pray.”

The nearby Hill Fire has covered 4,531 acres and was 75% contained yesterday.
