■ Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has said it’s seeing “some signs of customer caution”, particularly in the South East of England, due to “political and economic uncertainty”. It expects sales to be broadly flat next year.

■ Law firm Leigh Day has lodged the first equal pay claims against supermarket chain Morrisons from shop floor workers. The staff, mostly women, argue they are paid less than mainly male workers in warehouses.
