No respect for Trump

■ How dare Donald Trump refuse to attend a wreath-laying ceremony near Paris because of bad weather? How many soldiers up to their armpits in mud and bullets said, “Oh, we can’t fight today, it’s too wet?”

One hundred years ago millions died yet this buffoon spat on their sacrifice. I hope when America goes to the polls in two years’ time they remember his lack of humanity and respect. Mary Pester Saltash, Cornwall
