CHEVRONS FACE A MASSIVE TASK

-

ZIMBABWE were left chasing a huge victory target of 443 as Bangladesh stayed in control on day three of the second Test in Dhaka.

Having been bowled out for 304, Zimbabwe failed to make major inroads with the ball as Bangladesh declared their second innings on 224 for six.

Captain Mahmudullah (above) hit an unbeaten 101, while Mohammad Mithun made 67. In reply, the Chevrons, who will win the series should they somehow manage to salvage a draw, closed the day at 76-2.

Captain Hamilton Masakadza (25) and Brian Chari (43) were the men out, as the tourists ended the day needing 367 runs to reach the unlikely target.
