Yes. Given America’s commitment to the defence of Europe is becoming less, a European army makes sense. PRAGMATICS No. The EU’s main objective is to consolidate into a superstate and a European army is just part of it. BKS No. It’s been the overriding aim of the EU to merge into a superstate run by unelected bureaucrats. WHATEDOESITMEAN Yes. I would rather rely on Europe than America with Trump as President.
