RSPCA probe swan deaths
SEVEN swans have died in suspicious circumstances at the same lake.
Two were beheaded, another had its chest hacked open and the rest no apparent injuries.
The birds, protected by law, were found dead at Aldenham Reservoir, Herts, in a six-week period.
RSPCA inspector Callum Isitt said it was unlikely they were attacked by predators and added: “Given that seven have been found dead, I am looking into this.”
