Parroting the smoke alarm
FIREFIGHTERS rushed to a house after a smoke alarm went off, only to find it was a mimicking parrot.
They checked the device then heard the noise again and found the culprit
The fire crew said it had gone off incorrectly the first time then was imitated by the bird in Daventry, Northants.
One resident joked: “I’d like to hear his impersonation of the carbon monoxide detector.”
Another said: “Bet the crew were sick as a parrot.”
