Pubs flouting U18 slots ban

MOST pubs are allowing children to gamble on the premises, a study suggests.

Checks on 61 venues in England found 89% did not stop minors using 18-plus slot machines, said the Gambling Commission.

The regulator added: “We urgently call on the pub sector to take action.”
