Sane rips up Russia

LEROY SANE showed Pep Guardiola he is still in fine scoring form as he netted GERMANY’S first in a 3-0 friendly win over RUSSIA.

Serge Gnabry’s vision found him in the box and he finished brilliantly.

Niklas Sule took it to 2-0, finishing from a corner, before Gnabry made it 3-0.

In the Nations League, BELGIUM went to the top of Group 2, with Michy Batshuayi scoring twice in a 2-0 victory over ICELAND.

A draw against Switzerland on Sunday will be enough to see Belgium win the group.

GREECE knew they needed two goals against FINLAND to stand a chance of topping Group C2, but they only managed a 1-0 win through an own goal by Albin Granlund.

In the same group, HUNGARY beat ESTONIA 2-0, with Willi Orban and Adam Szalai scoring.
