CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN has warned Wales he intends to continue his red-hot international scoring form tonight.
The midfielder has just one goal for Tottenham this season, but 25 in 83 appearances for Denmark, scoring twice in the
2-0 Nations League win over Wales in September.He has been involved in 20 goals in his last 18 internationals, scoring 15 times and providing five assists. Ahead of tonight’s clash in Cardiff, Eriksen (above) said: “With the national team they go in.” WALES need a win to be certain of earning promotion to the top tier League A (possibly taking the place of Germany who might be relegated). It also earns them a place in the March 2020 play-off tournament that offers a backdoor entry into Euro2020.If Denmark win they are promoted with all the other advantages on offer.A draw would leave Denmark in control of their destiny and needing a victory against the Republic of Ireland in Aarhus on Monday.
