NHS targets GPs from Oz

NHS bosses hunting for GPs are having to look to the other side of the world.

There are 23 vacancies in Plymouth, Devon, and the recruitment campaign now extends to Australia.

Four GPs are interested. Recruiter Dr Liz Thomas said: “It is a big commitment from the doctors.”
