Ronnie and all that jazz
The Rolling Stones was my favourite gig of the year, but
Ronnie Wood’s solo jaunt on Thursday night topped it.
In what has to be one of the shows of the decade – produced by his wife Sally Wood, 40 – the rocker took to the stage at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club with pianist Ben Waters for a Chuck
Berry tribute.
He was joined by surprise guests Johnny Depp, 55, singer
Imelda May, 44, and guitarist Jeff Beck, 74. Other stars in the audience included Stella McCartney, 47, Noel Gallagher, 51, and my favourite actor Matthew McConaughey, 49, who agreed that it was an “incredible night”. Swoon!
