SALAH SWOOPS TO SINK TUNISIA
MOHAMED SALAH bagged a last-minute winner in Egypt’s 3-2 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying victory over Tunisia.
The Liverpool forward struck his 10th goal in eight games for his country after playing a one-two with Salah Mohsen and lifting the ball over Tunisia keeper Farouk Ben Mustapha.
Naim Sliti opened the scoring for Tunisia in the 13th minute before Trezeguet levelled with a deflected shot.
Baher El Mohamady put Egypt ahead on the half-hour and Sliti grabbed his second before Salah’s late intervention to move Egypt top level on points with Tunisia in Group J.
