Wards break limit on noise

NOISE in hospitals often exceeds recommended limits, researchers claim.

Four in 10 patients have suffered it, a study found.

Lead author Dr Andreas Xyrichis, of King’s College, London, said patients can be “active participants” in creating noise and must be targeted in bids to tackle it. SEVEN per cent of people admit to wearing lucky pants or knickers for their driving test, a poll by the AA Driving School found.
