Line of Duty’s Adrian Dunbar and Grantchester actress Carolina Main head up a great cast for this six-parter that will reel you in before the first ad break.
Cat Hogan (Main) is driving in the dark, clearly traumatised, even pulling over at one point to throw up. It turns out she has driven back to her family home in rural Ireland, a place she has spent the last 10 years trying to avoid.

Cat is forced to confront her past. Granted, this isn’t an unusual format, but there’s more to this.
“She was fine this morning,” says her brother Michael once Cat arrives, explaining that their mother lost her balance and slipped in the garden, hitting her head on the flagstones.
Something doesn’t ring true for Cat, who has Carolina Main as Cat Hogan a strained relationship with her sister Fiona and dad Jim (Dunbar). The more she hears, the more things don’t add up, and she starts to suspect her father Jim may have been involved in her mother’s death.
“What happened to your hand?” she asks him. “Broke a glass, just a bit of a cut,” he replies, before changing the subject. Jim also wasn’t where he said he was the day his wife died. And flashbacks hint at something murky from Cat’s childhood, too. Prepare for a week of twists and turns.
