Clinics hit by cyber attack

A CYBER attack is understood to have crippled IT systems at thousands of private health clinics.

Many were still not back up yesterday after hackers targeted Private Practice Software on Friday.

Cameron Tudor of Physiotherapy London told his patients: “It has affected thousands of clinics.”

PPS said on Friday it was taking systems offline “as a precaution”. It was last night restoring access.

NHS Digital said NHS systems were not affected.
