‘Bonnie and Clyde’ pair in raid on store
A MAN and a woman launched a terrifying raid on a post office shop armed with a meat cleaver.
The woman threatened owners Lee and Sue Evans with the blade before the “Bonnie and Clyde” couple, seen smooching on CCTV just before, fled with £300.
Sue, 63, said: “When she said, ‘Give me the money’, I thought she was joking but her face was pure evil.”
Lee, 64, added: “Having been a butcher I know what those cleavers are like and she wasn’t messing about.”
Police are probing the raid at the Post Office Spar in Blackpool, Lancs.
Det Insp Alisa Wilson said: “This is an extremely serious offence.
“We want to find the people responsible as soon as possible.”
