MP ‘too busy for car fine’
ACCUSED Fiona Onasanya A LABOUR MP accused of plotting to avoid a car fine claims it was a year before she examined the details.
Fiona Onasanya, 35, says her work and her multiple sclerosis distracted her.
Elected in Peterborough before last July’s incident, she allegedly schemed to claim a Russian drove her car at 41mph in a 30mph near Thorney, Cambs.
She denies perverting justice, a charged admitted by her brother Festus. The Old Bailey trial continues.
