Horror game teen suicide

A TEEN killed himself after playing an online horror game in which characters sometimes end their lives, an inquest heard.

Doki Doki Literature Club fan Ben Walmsley, 15, was found hanged in Bury, Greater Manchester, in February after messaging a friend to say he “might as well kill himself ”.

Det Insp Michael Gladwin told the inquest in Heywood the game features “self-harming and characters taking their own lives”. Verdict: Suicide.
