VIP sex abuse ‘Nick’ on trial

THE man known as “Nick” who sparked the Westminster VIP paedophile probe will stand trial charged with lying to police and receiving £22,000.

The 50-year-old, who cannot be identified, appeared yesterday at Newcastle crown court via videolink from jail.

He will “fully contest” 12 counts of perverting the course of justice and one count of fraud on March 5.
