Running trail attack alert
A RUNNING club sparked a chemical attack alert by using flour to mark out a course in a town centre.
Police cordoned off part of King’s Lynn, Norfolk, after a “man on a bike and a woman in red” were reported laying powder.
Norfolk Fire Service’s hazardous material unit was sent to investigate.
Hash House Harriers’ David Armes, who laid the trail, apologised but called the alert “over the top”.
Police advised the club “to inform us in future.”
