Knifings and shooting link

A MASS stabbing and a shooting less than a mile apart within 24 hours are believed to be linked.

Four men in their 20s were knifed in Edmonton, North London, at 6pm on Sunday and three were still in hospital yesterday.

It came 24 hours after a boy and two men were injured in a shotgun blast.

One person has been arrested and a Scotland Yard spokesman said: “At this early stage, officers believe the incident is linked to the shooting.”
