Quiz queen makes mealworm of trial
ANNE Hegerty is covered in mealworms and cockroaches as she totally flopped during her Monstrous Monoliths trial.
The Chase quiz queen, 60, struggled going into cave-like boxes to complete challenges, which involved unlocking padlocks in order to get into perspex cases and collect stars.
Anne succeeded in the first challenge despite having slime and offal poured on her and yelling “get off”.
A second cave was filled with creepy crawlies, and Anne ran out of time before she could access the third star.
After two challenges, Anne told hosts Holly Willoughby and Dec Donnelly she wouldn’t compete in any more.
Her pair of stars meant she only won two meals. Anne also failed to take part in a gym workout in Snake Rock.
