Police at flat in Yaxley A CHEATING wife who plotted to kill her terminally ill husband was jailed for life with a minimum of 15 years for “chilling cruelty”.
Hayley Weatherall schemed with lover Glenn Pollard to murder brain cancer victim Ray, trying to electrocute him in his swimming pool before recruiting Pollard’s daughter Heather to shoot him. He survived both attacks.

Photos shared of Staffordshire bull terriers on Facebook with Pollard, his best friend for 20 years. Judge Adele Williams said: “This was cold, calculated and chilling cruelty. Those closest to [Mr Weatherall] conspired to kill him instead of giving him the support he needed.”
Mum-of-three Weatherall, 32, wept yesterday as she was sentenced while her husband looked on.
