‘Flower men’ in raid on pair

TWO robbers posed as flower delivery men before tying up a petrified couple in their home.

The raiders pounced after the woman answered the front door.

Her husband ran in from the garden but he was also attacked and tied up.

The couple, in their 50s, suffered cuts and bruises and were taken to hospital.

Police said it was a “terrifying attack”.

The robbers stole cash and jewellery from the home in Fordham, Essex.
