Jailer held on smuggle rap

A WOMAN prison officer was arrested for allegedly taking banned items into Europe’s biggest jail.

The 26-year-old was held after a search at Berwyn jail, Wrexham, which holds 2,100 inmates.

Governor Danny Khan said: “We have zero tolerance to corruption.”
