Trump is just a joke

■ Who would have thought it – what a great sense of humour the Finnish people have.

For the umpteenth time, Donald Trump puts his foot in it, claiming the Finnish president told him his country nullifies any wildfire threat by raking leaves.

Your pictures of a lady vacuuming a forest and a firefighter standing guard with a rake were a treat on a dull Tuesday. Good for them!

Then just to compound matters, the hapless Trump got the name of a town hit by the tragedy wrong, calling it Pleasure instead of Paradise. He doesn’t do it by halves. Sam Johnson Blackpool

■ Great news that Kenny Dalglish is a knight.

As a lifelong Liverpool fan, I think if anyone deserves it, he does.

He was the best signing Liverpool ever made, a great manager, plus he’s a very decent human being – the work he and his wife Marina do for charity is amazing.

Kenny is up there with my other all-time favourite player – Preston’s Sir Tom Finney.

Thank you, Sir Kenny, for all you did and still do for football.
