Samba Boys thirsty for another Copa
I WAS privileged to present Brazil versus Uruguay pitchside for ITV on Friday night with experts John Barnes and Matt Upson.
The weather was typically British, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of the fans. It was a treat to see so many world-class players on show and, with the Copa America on Brazilian soil next summer, manager Tite is using every moment possible to get his team prepared. He also has to live up to the fact that Brazil have never lost the tournament on the four occasions they’ve hosted it.
From the results we’ve seen after the World Cup, I think he might just continue the trend.
