President John F Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy are pictured riding in the presidential motorcade with Texas Governor John Connally and his wife moments before the president was fatally shot in Dallas. The president’s assassination has spawned numerous conspiracy theories, with some believing there was a cover-up after gunman Lee Harvey Oswald was himself shot dead two days later at Dallas’s police headquarters by nightclub owner Jack Ruby.
