WORRALL: I’M FINALLY BACK TO MY BEST

-

JOE WORRALL believes he is rediscovering the form which made Burnley bid more than £10million for him last January.

Worrall was targeted by the Premier League Clarets, who had multiple bids rejected for the Nottingham Forest centreback. But he lost his place this term following Forest’s £25m summer spending spree under Aitor Karanka (above).

The 21-year-old has since moved to Rangers on loan and said: “That is how quick football changes – you go from turning down bids in January to going on loan in the summer. But I have overcome an injury and feel better than where I was a year ago.

“If you overcome setbacks it makes you stronger as a person.

“I am just trying to get as many games under my belt before I return to Forest in the summer.”
