Migrants hit by visa gaffe
DOZENS of highly skilled migrants may have been wrongly refused visas in a Home Office blunder.
The Government ordered a review after MPs claimed hundreds of foreign workers faced the boot over minor discrepancies between immigration and tax data.
The probe found at least 31 people may have been affected and 19 other cases could be reconsidered.
Immigration minister Caroline Nokes said it was a “regrettable” error.
