Kids’ mad wave game

DAREDEVIL schoolkids put their lives at risk dodging gigantic waves as a town’s seafront is battered by severe weather.

The five were filmed by a shocked passer-by at Dawlish, Devon, where railway lines run between the town and the sea.

The man was on a bridge when he spotted the youngsters playing on a path awash with water beside the track.

He said: “My heart was in my mouth – they could have been swept away and I wasn’t in a position to rescue them.”

The man, who preferred not to be named, said he also saw a swimmer almost hit by planks and other debris.
