ANGER Andrew Green is suing Betfred A GAMBLER is suing Betfred after it refused to pay £1.7million, claiming he hit the jackpot due to a computer glitch.

Andrew Green, 52, spent £2,500 celebrating after becoming a millionaire playing blackjack on Betfred’s website in January.

But five days later the company told him he would not get the money because there had been a “software malfunction”.

Mr Green refused a £60,000 settlement, which required a nondisclosure agreement, and is fighting his case in the High Court.

He said: “Even if there was a glitch I did
