Puel so hot on keeping ‘Chilly’
LEICESTER boss Claude Puel says he has no fears about losing new England star Ben Chilwell.
Chilwell, 21, made his first England start just last month and is already being tipped to become Gareth Southgate’s first-choice left-back.
But the Foxes tied him down to a six-year deal in October and Puel insists they are not concerned about ‘big six’ clubs swooping for him.
“He’s happy to play for this club. He’s been here a long time, since he was eight or nine,” said Puel.
“We have to progress to keep players like ‘Chilly’ and Harry Maguire but they can win something with Leicester.”
