Diesel price ‘must be cut’
DIESEL drivers have been short-changed from the sharp fall in oil prices.
In the past month the cost of diesel fell by less than 1p a litre to 135.61p.
But in the same period, petrol has dropped an average 4.8p a litre to 126.80p, revealed the AA.
Oil prices have fallen from $80 to $60 a barrel.
Supermarkets yesterday knocked 1p a litre off petrol and 2p off diesel. But AA chief Edmund King said: “The savings should be so much better.”
