Burglar is jailed after raid on CID chief as his family slept
A RAIDER has been jailed after breaking into the home of a CID officer while he and his family were sleeping.
Det Supt Iestyn Davies, of North Wales Police, his wife and two children woke to discover that property worth £4,000 had been taken in the raid.
The intruder had also eaten the top officer’s sandwiches and disabled a security light.

VICTIM Police chief Iestyn Davies from cars that night and two charges of criminal damage, including to a police car. He was jailed for three years and 10 months.
Imposing a 10-year restraining order not to contact the family, Judge Huw Rees at Caernarfon crown court said: “You have caused the family a great deal of distress.” When he had been interviewed Williams became aggressive, referring to the occupants of the house as “pigs”.
