Police HQ in grenade fear

A SECURE police HQ was evacuated and a bomb disposal unit sent in after an officer unwittingly took a grenade inside.

It was in a bag seized in a raid and taken into the station in Ashton-underLyne, Gtr Manchester.

The grenade was blown up on waste ground.
