Chippie kill court charge

A MAN appeared in court accused of murdering his wife at their chip shop.

Mavis Bran, 69, died after suffering severe burns in Hermon, West Wales.

Geoff Bran, 70, did not enter a plea and Llanelli magistrates remanded him in custody to Swansea crown court on Monday.
