JOS: I TRUST MY BOYS

-

JOS LUHUKAY believes his young guns can halt Sheffield Wednesday’s slide after admitting most of his players are too old.

The Owls’ head coach (right) will again call on several academy players against Derby.

Luhukay said: “I believe in our young players.

“The priority is bringing in and developing young players. That has been the aim from the beginning. The squad we have is too old – but that is not new this season.

“When I came we had an old squad and that has not changed.

“Four of our academy players were in the side against Sheffield United before the international break. This gives them so much experience and boosts their careers.”
