BIRTHDAY BOY NEIL EYEING GIFTS

NEIL WARNOCK is hoping for an early birthday present of three points when Cardiff face Everton today.

The Bluebirds boss turns 70 next Saturday and is hoping his team can emulate their win over Fulham after the last international break at Goodison Park.

Warnock (right) spent four days in New York over the break to refresh himself for the survival battle.

He said: “When you win games it instils belief in the players.

“We know we can do better than we have done we’ve just got to eliminate mistakes and try to put teams under more pressure.”
