5 outed after prison probe
FIVE prison workers at a women’s jail have left over “inappropriate relationships” with inmates in the past year, a report reveals.
Chiefs at 280-capacity women’s jail HMP Send, in Woking, Surrey, have “reinforced” staff anti-corruption training” and reviewed its “lone working” policy, to stop more improper relationships.
But the Chief Inspector of Prisons report added: “Send was very safe. Women were well cared for on arrival and there was little violence.”
