BRUNO MARTINS INDI claims the winter winds will blow Stoke’s promotion challenge back on course. The Dutch defender (below) believes the grim climate at the Potters’ Clayton Wood training ground gives them an edge.

He said: “This period is tough. It’s getting cold, it’s raining, everything. “It is more mental, you know, but luckily we are in a good area in Stoke because when it is windy, it is really windy, so we have the advantage.

“We know we can reach a lot of points, but first it’s step by step and we start with QPR.”
